Siwelele FC have confirmed that Siviwe Magidigidi has completed a permanent move to Belgian First Division B side K. Beerschot V.A.

The Amajita star was one of the standout performers at the U20 FIFA World Cup in Chile, where he scored two goals in four matches for South Africa.

On the domestic scene, Magidigidi chipped in with four goals in 12 appearances in the Betway Premiership, in what was his debut campaign in the topflight.

Thus, interest in his services intensified, with Beerschot winning the race against several other keen suitors.

The Belgian second division club had their initial offer rebuffed by Siwelele, but returned with an improved bid, which proved enough to seal the deal.

Now, the Ubuntu Academy graduate is set for a new chapter in Belgium, where he joins compatriots Shandre Campbell and Cassius Mailula.

Meanwhile, Beerschot sit third in the Challenger Pro League, having accumulated 33 points from 18 league outings.
