Continuing to track USC's re-signings for 2026 season

Over the past month, USC has been in the process of officially re-signing its players for the 2026 season. While some players, such as quarterback Jayden Maiava, have gotten a lot of attention, other returners have flown somewhat under the radar.

So who else is confirmed as coming back next season? Here are five more players who have recently re-signed with the Trojans.

Kaylon Miller

Miller is the twin brother of running back King Miller, who also re-signed with the Trojans. While Kaylon’s season did not get as much attention as his brother’s breakout campaign, he did see notable playing time as a reserve on USC’s offensive line as a redshirt freshman walk-on in 2025.

Elijah Newby

Newby recorded eight tackles as a redshirt freshman linebacker this past season. He will look to take on a bigger role at the position in 2026.

Cash Jacobsen

Jacobsen redshirted as a true freshman defensive lineman in 2025. Could he earn playing time at the position next season?

Corey Simms

Simms caught one pass for six yards as a true freshman wide receiver this past season. With the departures of top wideouts Makai Lemon and Ja’Kobi Lane for the NFL Draft, Simms is one of numerous players who will be competing for more targets in 2026.

Willi Wascher

Wascher redshirted as a true freshman offensive lineman in 2025. While he could be a part of USC’s long-term plans on the offensive line, it would likely take several injuries for him to see notable playing time next season.
