A former LSU wide receiver settled on a new school. On3’s Pete Nakos reported Friday that Nic Anderson will transfer to Kentucky after one season in Baton Rouge. He played at Oklahoma before donning the purple and gold in 2025.
Anderson signed with the Sooners as a four-star prospect in the 2022 class. His sophomore season was the best of his three in Norman, finishing with 38 catches for 789 yards and touchdowns. An injury in 2024 limited his playing abilities and led to his first stint in the portal.
At LSU, Anderson played in 10 games with three starts. He caught 12 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns. It’s unclear whether he was at full strength during the spring or for the entirety of the 2024 season.

Rivals’ Industry Rankings slots Anderson as the No. 61 wide receiver in the transfer portal. He’s one of several pass catchers who departed LSU for other schools but Lane Kiffin made recruiting transfers at the position a priority, signing nine in the window.
