Steelers sign offensive lineman to Reserve/Future contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed another player to a Reserve/Future contract, an offensive lineman, as major roster decisions continue to loom this offseason.

On Monday, the Steelers announced the signing of offensive guard Sataoa Laumea, who’s appeared in six games throughout his two-year NFL career. He joins 14 other players who have signed Reserve/Future contracts over the past week.

Selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 179th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Laumea started six games during his rookie season but was waived the following year as part of final roster cuts on August 26, 2025. He rejoined Seattle’s practice squad the following day.

He signed with the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad on September 17, 2025, but was released on October 7 before appearing in any games.
