The Los Angeles Rams were on the road this past weekend for a divisional-round matchup with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field that would send the winner to the NFC Championship and would send the loser home for the offseason.
While the Rams had a lead late in the fourth quarter, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams completed a miraculous touchdown pass to tight end Cole Kmet to tie the game and send it to overtime.
Before the extra frame started, Rams head coach Sean McVay gathered his players and shared a simple message with them, which was featured in this week’s episode of “Inside the NFL.”

“We are winning this game! Whatever happened, who cares?! MOVE ON. Be present! Let’s go and beat ’em!”

The Rams punted on their first possession, intercepted Caleb Williams on the next drive and sealed the victory with Harrison Mevis’ 42-yard field goal.
McVay may not have had his best day as a play caller, but his impressive leadership was on display while they prepared for the overtime period.
