In addition to having lost to Sporting, Paris Saint-Germain returned from Lisbon with a new injured player: Fabian Ruiz, who came off in the 80th minute with a left leg injury.
As against Paris FC recently in the Coupe de France, PSG once again lost a match it largely dominated on Tuesday night in Lisbon. And Luis Enrique lost another player to injury, as he revealed in the post-match press conference: “We made the last change because Fabian (Ruiz) was injured and we only had 4 or 5 players on the bench.”
After reviewing the match, Fabian Ruiz indeed came off limping in the 80th minute when he was replaced by Ilya Zabarnyi. The Spanish midfielder seemed to have been hurt for a few minutes in his left leg, the same leg that has already caused him trouble this season and made him miss six PSG matches.

Fabian Ruiz Suffers Another Left Leg Injury
On the Parisian engagement after the first Lisbon goal, you can also see Fabian Ruiz extending his left leg.
A possible muscular problem, therefore, which remains to be confirmed, but which obviously comes at a bad time, as PSG already has to deal with the muscular issues of Joao Neves, who has been out for two matches.
PSG should say more soon about the health of its Spanish international, but he may miss the trip to Auxerre this Friday night in Ligue 1.
Will he be available next Wednesday for the clash against Newcastle in the Champions League? Answer shortly.
