Will LSU football portal target Jordan Seaton reveal commitment soon?

One big target remains on LSU football’s transfer portal board: Colorado left tackle Jordan Seaton.

Seaton entered the portal earlier this month, but as most top prospects have found new homes, he remains uncommitted. Earlier this week, reports suggested LSU was building momentum with the coveted offensive tackle. Now Friday is here and Seaton is yet to make any public commitment.

On3’s consensus transfer portal rankings slot Seaton as the No. 4 overall player and the best-ranked player still available. Seaton plays a premium position and it’s a position of need for LSU. He’d be a massive get for Lane Kiffin and the Tigers.

LSU already has the best transfer portal class in the country, but the group lacks a bona fide offensive tackle with Power Four experience. Seaton fits that bill.

For now, the waiting game continues. There weren’t any reports on Thursday indicating that Seaton was close to making a final decision, but that doesn’t mean one isn’t imminent either. Nobody seems to know right now.
