The Green Bay Packers drafted three players who competed at the 2025 Senior Bowl. Brian Gutekunst selected Anthony Belton in the second round and both Barryn Sorrell and Collin Oliver on Day 3.
We took a look at the defensive back group on the National team, now let’s take a look at 10 other defensive prospects on the National squad who could be potential targets for the Packers in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Max Llewellyn, Edge, Iowa
The 6-5, 255-pound defensive end figures to be a player the Packers target on Day 3 of the draft as they look to bolster their pass rush. Llewellyn rushes the passer with energy and outstanding closing burst to the quarterback. He utilizes a spin move that would make Dwight Freeney proud. He finished the season with 6.5 sacks and 45 pressures.
Logan Fano, Edge, Utah
Another Day 3 edge rusher who the Packers could target. Fano is a well-rounded defensive end. He sets a sturdy edge against the run and rushes the passer with relentless energy. The Utah product finished the season with 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 34 pressures and 23 run stops.
Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech
Hunter may or may not be gone by the time Green Bay is on the clock with the 52nd overall pick. A transfer from UCF, Hunter has natural girth to clog up running lanes. He’s an active presence on the interior. He has strong hands to work off blockers and get them on the ball carrier.
Dani Dennis-Sutton, Edge, Penn State
At 6-5, 268 pounds, the Penn State product looks the part and is a long-levered rusher. He uses his long strides to pursue the football and close on the quarterback. During his final two seasons at Penn State, Dennis-Sutton recorded 25 tackles for loss, 17 sacks, 96 pressures and 56 run stops. The Packers desperately need to get more playmakers to team with Micah Parsons, and Dennis-Sutton could provide the Packers with another disruptor off the edge.
Deven Eastern, DT, Minnesota
The Minnesota native is stubborn at the point of contact and is hard to move off his spot. The Minnesota defensive tackle has a GPS for the football and recorded a career-high 20 run stops this season. He weighed in at 6-5, 301 pounds, after playing closer to 320 this past season. Eastern may surprise some folks this week with his first step quickness and upfield juice.
Gracen Halton, DT, Oklahoma
Halton finished this past season with seven tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 30 pressures and 19 run stops. The Sooner defensive tackle is an active interior presence with the lateral agility to attack gaps. He’s got good initial quickness and rushes the passer with energy. Over the past two seasons, Halton has recorded 8.5 sacks and 59 pressures.
Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech
Rodriguez started his collegiate career on the East Coast at Virginia, where he played on the offensive side of the ball before transferring to Texas Tech and switching to linebacker. He’s an instinctive linebacker who always seems to be around the pigskin and making impactful plays. It seemed like week after week that he was making an impact play to change the tide of a game.
Nadame Tucker, Edge, Western Michigan
A transfer from Houston, Tucker had a massive season at Western Michigan. Tucker was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Year after recording 21 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, 61 pressures and 37 run stops. Tucker has an explosive first step to get into offensive lineman and showcases the closing burst to finish the play.
Bryce Boettcher, LB, Oregon
The Oregon linebacker plays like his hair is on fire. He’s a psycho with the sideline-to-sideline quickness to be an impact player at the next level. Boettcher has 559 special teams snaps to his name and nine tackles.
Zane Durant, DT, Penn State
The Penn State defensive tackle is rich in tools and has recorded 15.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, 47 pressures and 42 run stops over the past two seasons. The Packers need to find a way to get more impact from the interior of their defensive line and Durant could be the potential spark. He could be a potential target on Day 3 of the draft.
