K’Lavon Chaisson on pace to rank No. 7 on Patriots’ playoff sacks list

K’Lavon Chaisson appears destined to rise on the New England Patriots’ career playoff sacks list.

Chaisson has recorded at least one sack in two of the Patriots’ three postseason games in 2025. He recorded two sacks in New England’s 16-3 AFC wild card round win over the Los Angeles Chargers, followed by another sack in the Patriots’ 28-16 divisional round win over the Houston Texans.

Averaging one sack per contest, Chaisson is on pace to turn in his fourth of the playoffs in Super Bowl LX to move to No. 7 all-time in the postseason for the Patriots.

Chaisson is currently tied with future Hall-of-Famer Vince Wilfork, in addition to Patriots greats Dont’a Hightower, as well as Jamie Collins (3), for No. 9 in franchise history. Wilfork achieved the feat in 21 playoff games, while Hightower appeared in 17 games with the franchise, respectively.

Should Chaisson exceed his playoff average on February 8 with multiple sacks, the LSU product’s name will be placed next to Hall-of-Famer Richard Seymour and former Patriots Second-Team All-Pro linebacker Tedy Bruschi (4.5) for No. 6. Another two-sack performance will place him in the top-five, tying him with former Patriots champion Jarvis Green (5).
