Oregon Ducks land transfer from Colorado Buffaloes RB Simeon Price

For the most part, it seemed as if the Oregon Ducks were done in the transfer portal for the 2026 season, with their roster largely set. However, Dan Lanning and his staff made a late move on Thursday night to add a veteran player.

Former Colorado Buffaloes running back Simeon Price announced that he was transferring to Eugene for his final year of eligibility. Price spent one year in Boulder under Deion Sanders, but played for both the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers before that.

In his career, Price has played in 38 games, rushing for just 470 yards and two touchdowns. His most productive season came last year with the Buffs, where he rushed for 143 yards and two TDs despite only playing in four games. After redshirting as a freshman with Mississippi State, Price has one more year of eligibility as a fifth-year senior.

Price will now come to Eugene, where there is a ton of competition in the backfield for the Ducks. With both Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill thriving as true freshmen, they are set to lead the way in 2026. Oregon also has a guy like Da’Jaun Riggs returning, while both Tradarian Ball and Brandon Smith are coming in as members of the 2026 class.

Price will act as the veteran of the room, with far more experience than anyone else in the group has.
