Former Middle Tennessee State football quarterback Logan Kilgore was promoted by the Denver Broncos and named quarterbacks coach on Feb. 2.
Coach Sean Payton also named Davis Webb the team’s offensive coordinator.
Kilgore, 35, spent the past three seasons as an offensive quality control coach with the Broncos. He helped lead Denver to a 14-3 regular-season and trip to the AFC Championship Game before falling to New England.
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix passed for more than 4,000 yards on the season, suffering a season-ending injury near the end of a 33-30 divisional round win over Buffalo.
Kilgore’s coaching career began in 2021 as an offensive analyst at Arkansas State. He spent the 2022 season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, coaching current Texas star Arch Manning.
Kilgore, a Rocklin, California, native, played at MTSU from 2010-13 after transferring from Bakersfield College.
During his three years as a starter with the Blue Raiders he completed 692-of-1,135 passes for 7,849 yards, 53 touchdowns and 36 interceptions. He also rushed for 210 yards and four TDs.

At the time he finished his MTSU career, he was the program leader in touchdown passes and 200-yard passing games, marks that have since been topped.
Kilgore went undrafted in 2014 NFL Draft, later signing with the New Orleans Saints, but he didn’t play a regular-season down in the league. He later joined the Canadian Football League, where he became a starter with the Toronto Argonauts in 2016. He also saw action with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2019.
