John Harbaugh has selected his offensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
Matt Nagy, the former Chicago Bears head coach and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator, is heading to East Rutherford to join Harbaugh, sources told NorthJersey.com and The Record on Tuesday.
Nagy, who worked with quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City, now has the opportunity to develop Jaxson Dart with the Giants.
But is this move enough for fans to accept? Here’s the reaction on social media:

Harbs and the Giants saying we’re going to “target Kliff Kingsbury and Brian Callahan for OC” was a great PR move.
Give your fans a wide spectrum of your potential hires, so that when you hire Matt Nagy it feels underwhelming, but not as much of a train wreck. https://t.co/f4wmgocNXm

Matt Nagy will get credit for helping develop Patrick Mahomes.
But important to note he was the Quarterbacks Coach in Mahomes Rookie Year, and wasnāt on the Chiefs Coaching Staff in Mahomesās first full season as the starting Quarterback for the Chiefs, and the Year he won MVP. https://t.co/tkfBdFjwSzā Shmileey (@spikeyspicks) February 3, 2026
