No. 14 North Carolina upset No. 4 Duke at the buzzer as senior guard Seth Trimble hit a corner 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left.
North Carolina improved to 19-4 overall and 7-3 in ACC play. It was Duke’s first ACC loss and second loss of the season, as the Blue Devils fell to 21-2 and 10-1.
Trimble finished with 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field, along with three steals and a block. Caleb Wilson led the Tar Heels with 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting, while Henri Veesaar picked up his 13th double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
