Before the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots battle in Super Bowl 60, Charlie Puth will initiate the action with his rendition of the national anthem.
The Grammy-nominated singer is the latest to participate in the decades’ long tradition. The legends before him include Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, Luther Vandross, Cher, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.
Puth has quite the resume himself. The 34-year-old has won three Billboard Music Awards and is best known for his hit song with Wiz Khalifa called See You Again, which famously appeared at the end of Fast & Furious 7 to honor the late actor Paul Walker.
So, when will Puth sing the national anthem? With the game kicking off at 6:30 p.m. ET, expect the national anthem to occur sometime between 6 and 6:15 p.m.
