How former Alabama players performed during Super Bowl LX

On Sunday night, the NFL season officially came to a close when the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, 29-13.

Between the two teams, there were a total of seven former Alabama Crimson Tide players on the rosters, many of which made an impact Sunday night on professional football’s biggest stage. Among those were a few players who won their first Super Bowl ring as well, while included two rookies for the Seahawks who played at Alabama as recent as the 2024 season.

Following is a look at how every Alabama player on the Patriots and Seahawks performed during Super Bowl LX.

Jalen Milroe, Quarterback – Seattle Seahawks

One-of-three Alabama rookies between the two teams, Milroe was Seattle’s third-string quarterback Sunday night, and as a result, did not play.

Robbie Ouzts, Tight End – Seattle Seahawks

Ouzts was listed as inactive by the Seahawks for the Super Bowl due to an injury, not playing as a result.

CJ Dippre, Tight End – New England Patriots

Dippre was listed as inactive by New England on Sunday night, and as a result, did not play.

Jarran Reed, Defensive Tackle – Seattle Seahawks

The veteran defensive tackle was not among the Seahawks’ defensive linemen to record a sack Sunday night, but even despite that, still made an impact. Reed finished the game with two total tackles.

Christian Barmore, Defensive Tackle – New England Patriots

Barmore was one of New England’s most productive defensive linemen in the Super Bowl, finishing the game with three total tackles. Two of Barmore’s three total tackles were solo.

Anfernee Jennings, Outside Linebacker – New England Patriots

The former Alabama outside linebacker was among New England’s most productive defensive players in Super Bowl LX. Jennings finished with six total tackles, four of which were solo, along with one TFL, one pass defense, and one quarterback hit.

Josh Jobe, Cornerback – Seattle Seahawks

Lastly, Jobe was arguably Alabama’s most impressive player during Super Bowl LX, finishing with the second-most tackles on Seattle’s defense with seven total. Of those seven tackles, six were solo, while Jobe also finished with a TFL and pass defense.
