Clemson makes elite four star running back's final four schools.

Andrew Beard from Prince Avenue Christian School is down to his final four, and Clemsonfootball is one of the programs that could acquire him.

At his core, Beard is a three-down back with creativity carved into his game. He runs with a low center of gravity and a compact, powerful build that allows him to stay upright through contact. His feet are quick, his acceleration is sudden, and he rarely needs much space to get going. Negative plays do not stay negative for long when the ball is in his hands.

What stands out most on film is his patience. He does not rush into congestion. He presses the line of scrimmage, lets blocks develop, and commits once he sees daylight. When that moment comes, the burst shows up immediately. He has a natural feel for squeezing extra yards out of plays that should be finished early, and that skill shows up consistently.

Over his sophomore and junior seasons, he was a focal point of his offense, consistently producing high yardage totals while maintaining impressive efficiency.

His background as a multi-sport athlete also shows up in his movement. Track times in the 100 and 200 meters reinforce what appears on film. He is explosive, coordinated, and comfortable operating at full speed in space.

He is not just a long-term developmental bet. With his vision, balance, and versatility, he looks like the type of back who can earn trust early and carve out a meaningful role at Clemson under Dabo Swinney.
