Social media reacts to Nebraska's loss to Purdue in overtime

No. 8 Nebraska (21-3, 10-3) fell to No. 12 Purdue (20-4, 10-3) 80-77 in overtime on Tuesday night. It was a game where the Huskers had to erase a 22-point deficit to force overtime, but it wasn’t enough to stop Nebraska from losing for the third time this season.

The Huskers looked like they were down and out early in this one, as they trailed 40-24 at the half. Nevertheless, they stormed back in the second half, as they throttled the Boilermakers 44-28. Purdue came out on top in overtime, 12-9.

Reink Mast had another solid game for the Huskers. He had 18 points on six-of-13 shooting. He was also active on eight boards.

Nebraska will remain home and host the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for noon CT and can be seen on BTN.
