Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova and Iga Swiatek are not on the same page when it comes to Taylor Swift.

Swiatek is a six-time Grand Slam champion and is one of the best tennis players in the world right now.

As well as being a former world number one, Swiatek is also a huge Taylor Swift fan and has frequently spoken about her love for the music star.

However, it appears that Swiatek is not on the same page as many of her rivals about Swift.

In a newly released video from Tennis Channel, which was filmed at the Australian Open last month, players from both the ATP and WTA Tours were asked about pop culture.

This included being asked if they could name Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, but many of them struggled.

Included in this list were American players Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula, who could not name the Swift album.

Gauff admitted she was not particularly a fan of Swift, while Anisimova said she does not actually like the global superstar.

“I’m not a Taylor Swift fan, so I don’t know (laughs)…That’s actually, I have no idea,” said Gauff.

Anisimova answered, “Oh, I don’t like Taylor Swift, sorry.”

For Pegula things run a bit more deeply with Swift, whose fiancé is Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Pegula is invested in the Buffalo Bills as she is the daughter of owner Terry Pegula, and therefore is not the biggest fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Pegula joked, “I don’t know…but I don’t really want to know that.”

Swiatek barely took a second to respond to this question, and simply answered, “The Life of a Showgirl, duh.”

As a result of her rapid response, Swiatek was then asked a follow-up question about what her favorite song on the album is.

Although she admitted that her favorite changes, Swiatek revealed that ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ is the one constant for her.

“Every month is different, but Elizabeth Taylor is like the most consistent in terms of how I like it,” said Swiatek.

Swiatek has seen Swift in concert in recent years, and even received a handwritten note from the popstar to be congratulated on her 2024 French Open victory.

While she is one of many fans of Swift, it does not appear that Swiatek will be bonding with Gauff, Anisimova and Pegula over the singer anytime soon.
