Preview, squad and fixtures for Morocco at the 2026 Women’s AFCON

Morocco will once again become the capital of African football as it hosts the 14th edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2026).
Sixteen nations will compete in the tournament, including the Super Falcons of Nigeria, the reigning champions from the previous edition.
Drawn in Group A, the host nation will face off against Kenya, Senegal, and Algeria.
Morocco preview
The North African side will be making its fifth appearance in the final tournament of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, following campaigns in 1998, 2000, 2022, and 2024.
Their best results remain the runners-up finishes in 2022 and 2024, following defeats in the final to South Africa (1-2) and Nigeria (2-3) respectively.
