What changes have the Warriors made amid their injury issues?

Despite navigating somewhat of an injury crisis, the Golden State Warriors have found ways to remain competitive. Steve Kerr has leaned on some of the younger players on his roster in recent weeks, and for the most part, they’ve managed to impress in spite of the difficult circumstances.

Will Richard, Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski have all made sizeable contributions to the Warriors in the absence of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, Seth Curry and Kristaps Porzingis. And, for a team that’s chasing direct playoff qualification, having the younger talents step up has been a welcome turn of fortune. Not only are they helping Golden State remain competitive, but they’re also showing they can play a sizeable role when the team is back to full strength.

Nevertheless, Kerr and his coaching staff deserve credit for implementing some subtle tweaks to the offensive and defensive systems in order to get the best out of the Warriors’ current rotation. A recent YouTube video from the “Mattydubs NBA” channel broke down some of the adjustments Kerr and the Warriors have made since the team has been hit by injuries.
