Michigan State hockey played their final regular season home game of the season on Saturday night against the Ohio State Buckeyes, where the Spartans won a shootout thriller to earn a much needed two points in the Big Ten standings.
With this being the last regular season home game at Munn Ice Arena, the Spartans are set to host a Big Ten Tournament game at home, it was senior night for the Spartans, who got to honor some of the program’s most important players.
Tiernan Shoudy, Travis Shoudy, Dolan Gilbert, Daniel Russell, Matt Basgall and Charlie Stramel were all honored, and after the game, got to partake in the tradition of kissing the Spartan logo at center ice.
