Neemias Queta put on a show for Boston Celtics fans at TD Garden on Sunday night, scoring 27 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in what was probably the best game of Queta’s career to date.
Of Queta’s 17 boards, 10 of them were offensive rebounds, which placed the Portuguese center in rare air when it comes to Celtics franchise history.
According to Celtics team reporter Taylor Snow, Queta became the first Celtic since Robert Parish in 1989 to score 25 points and pull down 10 offensive rebounds in a single game.
Moreover, in all of Celtics history, only Parish, Kevin McHale, and now Queta have accomplished this feat.
Queta is the first Celtic with at least 25 points and 10 offensive rebounds since Robert Parish in 1989.
Only Queta, Parish (3X) and Kevin McHale (during his 56-point game) have accomplished the feat since OREB began being tracked in 1983.https://t.co/DZAImPrjBZ

Queta has been a revelation for a Celtics squad that lost Al Horford, Luke Kornet, and Kristaps Porzingis in the offseason.
The 26-year-old should be considered for the NBA’s Most Improved Player award.
