The Las Vegas Raiders aren’t wasting any time as free agency begins, with the franchise being one of the most active teams on Day 1.

With Tyler Linderbaum and Eric Stokes being signed early in the day, the Raiders, it appears, still have plenty of thirst to add more.

The franchise signed Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean on a three-year deal, it is being reported. That is seen as a good move.

But Las Vegas, a mere five minutes later, announced the signing of linebacker Quay Walker from the Green Bay Packers. Two free agents signed right after the other.

Raiders moving fast in free agency

The Klint Kubiak era for the Raiders has begun with a bang, as the franchise, it appears, is targeting quality starters to help build this thing out.

Of course, the Raiders also have the No. 1 overall pick, so they are trying to fill as many holes as possible in free agency before going after Fernando Mendoza.

The money being reported is big, but if you want to be a player on Day 1 of free agency, you’d better loosen the purse strings.

And the Raiders have done just that.
