Jarek’s pre-tipoff thoughts:

Well, the pressure of winning of a tournament game is now gone. Time to see the free-flowing Huskers we have seen all season long. If the Huskers play like they did against Troy, we will have a really decent shot at winning. Vanderbilt will cause many problems, not least of which include a star guard and decent rebounding. See the two matchups against Purdue for proof. The Huskers will definitely have their hands full on this one.

Since we have officially reached unchartered territory, I’m honestly not sure what to think here. I know what my brain wants, but my heart feels slightly conflicted as to our chances. If the Commodores control the boards, we are in deep doo-doo. If the Huskers play a full 40 minutes like they do in second halves of games, we shouldn’t have many issues. This one is basically a coin flip, and I hope it comes up red. Score Prediction: Nebraska 79 Vanderbilt 77
