Apple AirTags (2nd gen) 4-pack

Apple’s newest AirTags are on sale, and whether you’re going back to school, heading out on vacation, or just often lose track of your keys, it’s a great time to stock up. Right now, you can grab a four-pack for just $89 at Amazon, which works out to roughly $22 each. That’s the best price we’ve seen yet on the new model.

This 2nd-gen version quietly fixes a handful of small annoyances from the original. The first thing you’ll notice is the speaker is a little louder, so when you’re hunting for keys that slipped between couch cushions, that extra volume makes the ringing much easier to follow. Range got a boost, too, thanks to upgraded Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth chips. You’ll now be able to ping your stuff from noticeably farther away than before. That’s a bigger deal than it sounds, whether you’re tracking a checked bag across the airport or trying to spot your backpack from across a crowded café.

Battery life is not something you’ll worry about either, since it should last more than a year. Even when the battery eventually runs low, you can just pop in a standard CR2032 battery for just a few bucks.

One thing to keep in mind is that Apple kept the same slick design, which means there’s no built-in hole for a keyring, so you’ll need to buy a separate holder to attach one to your keys or bag, or slip one into a pocket. Still, getting four AirTags for $89 is a great opportunity, so don’t miss out on this discount while it’s still available.
