During his media briefing on Saturday, manager Hansi Flick provided updates on several Barcelona players, noting that while Lamine Yamal requires additional development time, both Gavi and Alejandro Balde are advancing positively in their respective injury rehabilitation processes.
What did Flick say about Lamine Yamal’s return?
Barcelona’s manager emphasized a cautious approach regarding player recoveries, stating: “I hope to see him (Gavi) back soon. This isn’t the time to make decisions, but let’s wait two or three more days and see how things progress and what decision is made.”
He further elaborated on the rehabilitation timelines, confirming: “Of course, we’re working on it. As I said before, we have to take it day by day with Lamine. With Balde, his case is better, and we hope to see him again soon. Lamine needs more time.”
