Perhaps Jeremiyah Love was getting tired of watching his backfield mate, Jadarian Price, scoring touchdowns.
Love used two quick cuts to turn a routine first-down run into a 46-yard touchdown scamper for the No. 21 Notre Dame Fighting Irish against the Purdue Boilermakers. Love’s second touchdown run capped off a 5-play, 75-yard drive that took 2:06.
It was also Love’s longest run of the day so far.
The touchdown gave Notre Dame a 42-16 lead with about 13 minutes remaining in the third quarter following the extra point.
