SOUTH BEND — Purdue football will be without one its most promising interior defensive linemen for the rest of the season.
TJ Lindsey suffered a torn ACL in his right leg last week’s game against USC, coach Barry Odom said after Saturday’s loss at Notre Dame. Odom said Lindsey will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Lindsey played only one game in a redshirt freshman season at Auburn. Then he transferred to Purdue and last winter and quickly became a potential source of pass rush from the 3 technique spot.
