Bengals injury updates: 3 key players suffer setbacks vs. Vikings

The Cincinnati Bengals got walloped 48-10 by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, good for the worst loss in franchise history.

Turns out they suffered a handful of notable injuries, too.

The Bengals lost the following players to injury in Minnesota:

  • TE Noah Fant
  • RB Samaje Perine
  • OL Dalton Risner

Perine left with a wrist injury and the team ruled him out pretty quickly. That could mean more work for rookie Tahj Boyd in the future. It also opens up an issue on special teams returners.

Risner just signed with the team but exited with a calf issue. Rookie Jalen Rivers took his spot and will continue to do so unless Lucas Patrick gets back.

Fant suffered a concussion, as confirmed by Bengals head coach Zac Taylor after the game.
