Social media reacts to epic drop from Cardinals' Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr had social media buzzing for a play he didn’t make against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Sept. 21.

The 49ers beat the Cardinals 16-15.

Harrison caught attention when he dropped a wide-open pass from quarterback Kyler Murray. A few plays later, he had another drop in the end zone.

The Cardinals have faced criticism over the past two seasons for their use of Harrison. Many have said the receiver wasn’t being targeted enough or given downfield opportunities. Arizona drafted Harrison No. 4 overall in 2024.

Harrison had three catches for 44 yards against the 49ers. He has 10 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown on the season.

Here’s a sample of what social media had to say — at least the portion with language we can publish.
