Tom Brady is in hot water after making controversial comments about abusing an animal during the Bears vs. Cowboys matchup on Sunday night.
During the live broadcast, in which the Bears dominated the Cowboys 31-14, the seven-time Super Bowl champion gave some startling advice that has now gone viral on social media.
The drama went down in the fourth quarter after Dak Prescott’s pass deflected off of George Pickens’ hands, landing directly in the arms of Tremaine Edmonds. After the pass, Pickens erupted in frustration and slammed his helmet on the ground.

In an attempt to analyze the play, Brady sparked controversy by making a bizarre comparison to “the dog at home.”
“Those helmets can be… like a dog at home. Kick the dog, throw the helmet. Whatever it takes,” Brady remarked, clearly unaware at how brash his comments sounded.
It didn’t take long for the former NFL quarterback’s comments to explode on social media, with many people suggesting that Brady was way too comfortable with suggesting that someone kick an animal.
One person commented on X, “Is Tom Brady abusing dogs in his home??”
“Yo @peta@spca, please have a word with @TomBrady,” another person quipped.
“Disgraceful! Only a certain type of person abuses an animal or encourages others to do so. The worst type of person,” a third added.
“Did Tom Brady suggest he beats his dog when frustrated?,” another added.
“Um if Tom Brady has a dog, a rescue might want to go scoop it up. Yikes man,” someone else wrote.
