In the NFL’s Week 3 “Monday Night Football” showcase between the Detroit Lions (1-1) and Baltimore Ravens (1-1) from M&T Bank Stadium, the defensive prowess of former Iowa football star linebacker Jack Campbell was felt during the prime-time matchup between potential Super Bowl combatants.
On a fourth-and-goal snap from the Lions’ 1-yard-line, Campbell was able to force a strip-sack of Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson on a stellar defensive play that allowed Detroit to take over on downs from its own 20-yard-line.
On social media, former NFL head coach Jon Gruden was among the loudest to praise the former Hawkeye stud who was chosen No. 13 overall by the Lions in the 2023 NFL draft.

As the Ravens continue to battle against the Lions throughout the second half, Campbell will undoubtedly be a factor in whether the Lions can pull off a critical Week 3 victory from MM&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.
