South Dakotans in the NFL, Week 3

Sep. 23—It was a wild, wild Sunday in the NFL, with upsets, blowouts, comebacks, crazy finishes and blocked kicks everywhere.

One of the big blocked field goals came in Philadelphia, where the Eagles won a 61-yard return in the final seconds that capped off a comeback from 19 points down against the Rams.

That comeback started with a 33-yard touchdown catch by Dallas Goedert, who returned to the Eagles lineup after missing last week to injury.

Here’s how the rest of the NFL’s South Dakota alumni fared in Week 2:

Jack Cochrane, LB, Chiefs (USD)

Played 15 special teams snaps and did not record any statistics in the Chiefs’ win over the Giants.

Isaiah Davis, RB, Jets (SDSU)

Averaged 27 yards on three kickoff returns and made two tackles on special teams in the Jets’ loss to the Bucs.

Myles Harden, CB, Browns (USD)

Started for the second straight week and made two tackles in the Browns’ win over Green Bay.

Dennis Gardeck, LB, Jaguars (USF)

Had four tackles, a pass defensed and one tackle for loss in the Jags’ win over Houston.

Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles (Britton-Hecla/SDSU)

Caught one pass, and it was a 33-yard touchdown that cut the Rams 26-7 lead to 26-14, the first step on the way to the Eagles’ 33-26 comeback win.

Tucker Kraft, TE, Packers (Timber Lake/SDSU)

Had three catches for 29 yards in the Packers’ loss to the Browns.

Mason McCormick, G, Steelers (SF Roosevelt/SDSU)

Started and played all 54 offensive snaps in the Steelers’ win over New England.

Trey Pipkins, OL, Chargers (USF)

Started and played 77 of 86 offensive snaps in the Chargers’ win over the Broncos.

Tip Reiman, TE, Cardinals (SF O’Gorman)

Had two catches for eight yards in the Cardinals’ loss to the 49ers.

Christian Rozeboom, LB, Panthers (SDSU)

Had nine tackles to spearhead the Panther defense’s shutout of the Falcons.

Isaiah Stalbird, LB, Saints (SDSU)

Played six snaps on defense and 29 on special teams in the Saints’ loss to the Seahawks, recording one pass defensed.

Grey Zabel, G, Seahawks (Pierre)

Started at guard and played all 57 offensive snaps in Seahawks’ win over New Orleans.
