The Philadelphia 76ers begin training camp on Saturday looking to move from a tough 20254-25 campaign in which injuries ravaged the roster. The Sixers were expected to contend for a title, but instead, finished 24-58 as they were unable to get healthy at the same time.
Jared McCain, one of the early season bright spots, had his season cut short when he suffered a torn lateral meniscus in his knee that required season-ending surgery in December. As he begins his second season, the sharpshooting guard has suffered an offseason workout injury right before camp begins.
McCain has suffered a torn UCL in his right thumb. He and the Sixers are speaking with specialissts to figure out the next move.

This is a tough blow for Philadelphia already. McCain averaged 15.3 points and shot 38.3% from deep as a rookie. The Sixers have to hope he can recover quickly and get back on the floor with the team.
