LANGHORNE — There was plenty to play for Friday night at Harry E. Franks Stadium.
The winner of the Central Bucks West–Neshaminyfootball game would stay undefeated in the rugged Suburban One League National Conference and maintain a share of first place.
Neshaminy ended up downing the Bucks 28-18 behind two touchdown passes from senior quarterback Mike Eckart, including an 87-yarder to senior receiver Bobby Lagler, and two Eckart TD runs.
CB West had won four in a row since a season-opening 26-20 loss at Easton. The Bucks downed Upper Dublin (24-7) and Souderton (13-0) in non-conference play prior to SOL National victories over Abington (43-15) and intradistrict rival CB South (25-21).
