PHENIX CITY, Alabama, Sept. 26 — The SN No. 2 IMG Academy [Bradenton, FL] Ascenders are on the road Friday night at the Central [Phenix City, AL] Red Devils. The Ascenders lead in the second quarter, 42-7.
IMG enters the game riding shotgun to the No. 1 St. John Bosco [Bellflower, CA] Braves in the race for The Sporting News High School Football National Championship. The national No. 2-ranked Ascenders will take on a Red Devils’ squad that is ranked as high as No. 2 in some rankings in the state of Alabama.
