Just how fast can we expect to see the Boston Celtics play this season? One thing is certain — they will almost certainly play faster than they did in the 2024-25 NBA season, which saw the Celtics play with the 30th-fastest (of all 30 teams) pace in the NBA. You can’t play slower than slowest, so when new Boston big man Luka Garza said that “we (were) moving out there today, but it was a lot of fun,” we should believe him.

“The intensity was high, competition level was high,” added the former Minnesota Timberwolves center. “I love practices like that.”
