The Indianapolis Colts worked out two rookie wide receivers on Tuesday.
According to Jake Arthur of Colts Roundtable, the Colts had in Kisean Johnson and Eli Pancol for workouts.
Johnson went undrafted out of Western Kentucky, where he was a huge part of the offense, with 105 targets during the 2024 season. Johnson would catch 76 of those passes for 931 yards and seven touchdowns, per PFF.
Johnson signed with the Cleveland Browns after the 2025 NFL draft and appeared in two preseason games.

Pancol was also undrafted, spending his college career at Duke. After missing the 2023 season due to injury, Pancol had a career year in 2024, totaling 60 receptions for 800 yards and nine scores.
Pancol signed with Jacksonville after the draft and was with the team through training camp.
Both wideouts have experience playing inside and out from their college days and fit that big-bodied receiver mold. Pancol measures in at 6-3 – 205 and Johnson is listed at 6-1 – 216.
Colts’ GM Chris Ballard is constantly churning the back end of the practice squad in search of upgrades. It’s also common practice around the NFL to have players in for workouts on Tuesdays.
No signing has been reported at this time.
