MSU football offers highly-coveted CB prospect from Pittsburgh

Michigan State is the latest power four school to extend an offer to a rising cornerback prospect in the 2027 class.

Zachary Gleason Jr. of Pittsburgh announced on Wednesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. He posted about his offer from Michigan State on his social media X account, citing the offer coming from defensive backs coach Blue Adams and player personal analyst Michael Morales.

Gleason is currently an unranked prospect on 247Sports. He plays for Central Catholic, and is listed at 6-foot-0 and 165 pounds.

Despite not being ranked on 247Sports, Gleason has received a ton of interest on the recruiting trail. Following his offer from Michigan State, Gleason now has offers from 15 schools, according to 247Sports. Other schools to offer him includes California, Indiana, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, SMU, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Akron, Liberty, Miami (OH) and Sacramento State.
