DENTON, Texas, Oct. 3 — The SN No. 22 Aledo [TX] Bearcats will visit the Ryan [Denton, TX] Raiders Friday night in a battle between two of the top teams in Texas. Ryan leads at halftime, 7-2.
Aledo is making its debut in The Sporting News High School Football Top 25. In addition to being ranked in the SN Top 25, Aledo is also ranked No. 16 in the Massey Ratings, and they are currently No. 28 overall in the SN Composite Rankings.
Ryan hasn’t cracked anybody’s Top 25, but that could all change if the Raiders are able to beat the Bearcats at home Friday night.
