Oct. 4—PRICEVILLE — Sheldon Graham and Jack Eubanks accounted for two touchdowns each as Priceville remained unbeaten in Class 5A, Region 7 play with a 26-0 shutout win over West Point on Friday.
After a scoreless first quarter, Graham got Priceville on the board early in the second with a 3-yard touchdown run that would be the only score by either team in the first half.
Eubanks connected with Uriah Burnham on a 29-yard touchdown pass with 9:29 to play in the third quarter to push Priceville’s lead to 14-0 and extended the lead to 20-0 with a 19-yard touchdown run midway through the quarter. Graham scored on an 18-yard run with less than a minute to play in the third quarter to put the final at 26-0.
Priceville (5-1, 3-0) continues region play next week at home against Fairview.

West Morgan 64, East Lawrence 0: MaCarri Johnson rushed for five first-half touchdowns in a big Class 4A, Region 7 win for West Morgan on Friday.
Johnson scored on runs of 34, 4, 7, 3 and 17 yards for the Rebels. Kaylen Stover, Jakobe Stevenson, Pablo Mendoza and Nash Thomas also had touchdown runs and Keithan Deloney intercepted a pass.
West Morgan (6-0, 4-0) continues region play next week at home against Danville. East Lawrence (3-3, 1-3) hosts Central-Florence in region play.

Brewer 34, Scottsboro 31: Brewer picked up a massive win Friday over Class 5A, No. 9 Scottsboro for its second win of the year.
Cole Drinkard connected with Cam Ballinger for a score, while Hunter Knighten, Corbin Raines and Brayden Watkins all had rushing scores.

Elkmont 47, Sheffield 42: Elkmont quarterback Reid Bardos threw six touchdown passes on Friday and also rushed for the game-winning score as the Red Devils picked up their first win of the season.
Owen Burgess and Cooper Wales each had two receiving touchdowns, while Justin Aikens and Braidyn Amick both had one.

Lawrence County 30, East Limestone 13: Cam King was 8-for-13 passing for 190 yards and two touchdowns as Lawrence County picked up its second win in a row.
Freshman Tavian Jones rushed 23 times for 110 yards and a score, eclipsing 1,000 career yards in the process, while Kade Taylor hauled in two touchdown passes. Eli Mitchell added a 30-yard pick-six.
Preston Tidwell threw a touchdown pass for East Limestone and Andrew Andrew McConnell had two field goals.

Athens 33, Hazel Green 0: Kenidi Orr returned two interceptions for touchdowns as Athens picked up a shutout win on Thursday.
Brooklyn Anderson, Caitlyn Tedford and Leighton McColpin had one touchdown each for the Golden Eagles, who will travel to Phenix City to play Central-Phenix City and Enterprise on October 16.

Austin 50, Sparkman 0: Autumn Cassidy accounted for six total touchdowns as the Black Bears improved to 6-0 with a big Region 8 win on Tuesday.
Cassidy tossed four touchdown passes and ran for two more, while Jada Billings led the defense with three interceptions and seven total flag pulls.
Cassidy finished 15-of-20 passing for 210 yards. Kailan Steele had six catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, while Zyriah Sessoms and Billings added one receiving touchdown each. Billings also returned two interceptions for scores.
Anyiah Turner had one interception for the Black Bears and Jazlyn Hullett had five flag pulls and three pass break ups.

Lindsay Lane gets area win: Lindsay Lane wrapped up area play on Thursday with a 3-2 win over Lexington, defeating the Golden Bears 27-25, 22-25, 22-25, 27-25, 19-17.
KK Jones set a new school record for kills in a single match, finishing with 38. She also had 11 aces and a pair of blocks. Riley Green had 52 assists and five kills and Bailey Mullins had seven kills and four blocks.

Danville sweeps tri-match: Danville swept a tri-match on Thursday, beating Grissom 3-2 (16-25, 25-13, 16-14) and Mae Jemison 2-0 (25-7, 25-7).
Adily Alberti and Josie Bailey had 13 kills and four digs each, while McKenna Jackson had eight digs. Carly Hensley had 29 assists.

Hartselle sweeps Muscle Shoals: Hartselle picked up its 29th win of the season on Thursday, topping Muscle Shoals 3-0.
Brenna McReath led the Tigers with 15 kills and eight digs, while Lyndie Springer added eight kills and 14 digs. Maddy Johnson had 36 assists and nine digs and Kendra Gillott had six kills and eight digs.

Austin tops Bob Jones: Maggie Marsh recorded her 2,000th career assist as Austin picked up a win over Bob Jones on Tuesday.
Marsh finished with 36 assists, 10 kills and 10 digs for the Black Bears, while Charlie Barnes added 16 kills and 12 digs. Arden Breedlove had nine kills, 16 digs and four aces.
