Weather forecast for Nebraska-Michigan State game

The Nebraska football team (3-1, 0-1) will wrap up a four-game homestand on Saturday afternoon when it hosts the Michigan State Spartans (3-1, 0-1). Both teams are coming off a bye week.

The Huskers lost their last game to Michigan, 30-27, on Sept. 20. The Spartans fell in their previous game to USC, 45-31, as well.

Nebraska averages 496.5 yards of total offense and 43.5 points per game. Defensively, they surrender 249.3 yards per game and 13.5 points per game.

Michigan State averages 374.2 yards of total offense and 34.25 points per game. Defensively, they surrender 384.0 yards and 28.75 points per game.  

This will be the 14th meeting all-time between these two schools. The Huskers lead the all-time series with a record of 9-4, although the Spartans have won the last two games, including a 20-17 defeat in 2023.

According to the National Weather Service, the weather in Lincoln will be:

Sunny, with a high near 89. Breezy, with a south wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-1, 0-1) retake the field on Saturday, Oct. 4, when they host the Michigan State Spartans at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff time is set for 3 p.m. CT and can be seen on FS1.
