4 player connections between Cardinals, Colts in Week 6

The Arizona Cardinals will face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 6. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. Arizona time), For both teams, there will be some familiar names.

The Cardinals have three former Colts players, while the Colts have one former Cardinals player.

Who are they?

Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett

Brissett, signed this offseason to a two-year contract, played for the Colts from 2017-2020. If Kyler Murray is unable to play on Sunday, he will start for the Cardinals against them.

In four seasons with the Colts, he played in 46 games, starting 30, going 11-19 in those starts. He had 31 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions.

He also rushed for 500 yards and 11 TDs on 143 carries. In 2019 he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week (Week 7) after throwing for career highs in passing yards (326) and TDs (4).Brissett was also named the Colts’ 2020 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year for his dedication on to community service.

Cardinals CB Darren Hall

Hall spent the 2023 season on Indy’s practice squad and returned to Indy briefly in 2024 after he was cut during the season.

Cardinals QB Kedon Slovis

Slovis is on the Cardinals’ practice squad. He was on the Colts’ practice squad last season.

Colts OL Luke Tenuta

Tenuta spent time on the Cardinals’ practice squad and active roster, although he did not appear in any games.
