Fantasy football: Is DK Metalf a must-start this week vs Browns after injury updates

When it comes to fantasy football, the Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t been a great play all season, especially on offense. The team is 3-1 thanks to timely defensive plays and the ability to hold off opponents. But in the Steelers last game, we got a taste of what might be the fantasy sleeper on the team and he has an even better chance this week.

On Friday, the Steelers listed starting wide receiver Calvin Austin III as out after a shoulder injury suffered two weeks ago against the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland. When Austin went down, the entire passing offense funneled through wide receiver DK Metcalf and this week against the Cleveland Browns, we expect more of the same.

Metcalf went 5-for-5 on his targets for 126 yards, which included an 80-yard touchdown on a beautiful catch and run. While we aren’t quite ready to predict another 80-yard score, there’s no doubt Metcalf is the best option to catch a touchdown this week and a 100-yard receiving game against a Browns secondary in flux after a trade is a risk worth taking.
