The Nebraska volleyball team (14-0, 4-0) continues Big Ten play with a homestand against the Washington Huskies (7-7, 2-2) late Friday night.
Nebraska is 7-2 all-time against Washington, winning its last five and sweeping the Huskies in its last matchup back in 2024. The last time Washington played at the Devaney Center was in 2016, the Nebraska swept the Huskies in the NCAA Regional Final.
Nebraska is 4-0 in the conference and is off to a 14-0 start for just the second time since joining the Big Ten in 2011. The Huskers rank first in the nation in opponent hitting percentage at .102. Nebraska also ranks third nationally with a .327 hitting percentage and haven’t hit better than .300 in a season since 2007. Washington is hitting .253 and allowing opponents to hit .223.
Washington is coming off a two-match winning streaking at home, taking down Ohio State 3-1 and sweeping Iowa. Now they face a Nebraska team that will be heading to West Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday for a high noon matchup against No. 12 Purdue on Sunday.
