The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to shuffle their training camp and preseason roster. They made a pair of moves on Tuesday for the third consecutive day.
The Thunder waived Payton Sandfort after being on the roster for just one day. He spent four college seasons at Iowa, known as an outside shooter. He had two labrum surgeries in May 2025 that he continues to recover from. He went undrafted this past summer but was added to OKC’s Summer League squad.
A few minutes later, the Thunder signed Buddy Boeheim. He spent last season on the G League’s OKC Blue. He averaged 12.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Before that, he previously spent time as a Detroit Pistons two-way player.
This is part of the training camp and preseason process. The Thunder have signed a handful of players to Exhibit 10 deals for their G League rights. While only one will likely get the final two-way spot, the rest should be added to the Blue’s roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
