Broncos enter Week 7 with eight players on injured reserve

The Denver Broncos are entering Week 7 with eight players on injured reserve, but two of them could return as early as this weekend.

Broncos defensive lineman Malcolm Roach (calf) returned from IR to the active roster last week, and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad) is eligible to return from IR this week. Fellow linebacker Drew Sanders (foot) also remains eligible to return from IR, but it remains to be seen when he will be ready to return to action.

The Broncos also have four players — fullback Michael Burton, guard/center Nick Gargiulo, pass rusher Johnny Walker and defensive end Matt Henningsen — on season-ending IR. They are not eligible to play again this season, barring a settlement and release from IR, which would allow them to join another club.
