Vote for the South Shore High School Female Athlete of the Week

Canton High’s Lauren Raffetto has been voted the South Shore High School Female Athlete of the Week.

Raffetto, a junior cross country standout, received more than 9,000 votes to earn the honor. She led a 1-2-3 Bulldogs sweep in a win over North Attleboro; her 18:40 was the fastest 5K time in the Hockomock League this season.

Emily Tuttle, Norwell girls soccer

She scored twice in a 10-0 win over Carver and then netted a hat trick in a 6-0 victory over Mashpee.

Mae Foley, Hanover girls soccer

She scored in a 2-0 win over Scituate and added a goal and an assist in a 6-4 victory over North Quincy.

Elizabeth Green, Blue Hills girls soccer

She scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Southeastern and then struck for four goals in a 5-2 win over Diman Regional.

Shannon Lane, Canton field hockey

She scored twice in a 3-1 win over King Philip as the Bulldogs (10-0-1) clinched a second straight Hockomock League Davenport Division crown.

Libby Struzziero, Cohasset field hockey

She scored twice in a 6-0 win over East Bridgewater.

Natasha Mikus, Norwell field hockey

She scored twice in a 4-0 win over Middleboro and had a single goal in a 2-0 victory over Whitman-Hanson.

Alyssa Charlebois, Marshfield field hockey

Shescored both goals in a 2-0 victory over Whitman-Hanson.

Sadie Chadwick, Hanover girls volleyball

She recorded her 1,000th career assist and finished with 21 assists and 4 aces in a 3-1 win over Cohasset. She also had 20 assists, 4 kills and 3 aces in a 3-0 win over Plymouth South.

Josie Magnarelli, North Quincy girls volleyball

She had 16 kills and 4 blocks in a 3-2 win over city rival Quincy.

Katie O’Toole, Archbishop Williams girls volleyball

She had 27 assists, 12 digs and 2 aces in a 3-1 win over Cardinal Spellman and then totaled 31 assists, 16 digs, 6 aces and 2 kills) in a five-set victory over St. Mary’s (Lynn).

Katherine Murray, Norwell girls cross country

Sophomore won the race in 19:34, setting her PR over 3 miles, to lead the Clippers to an 18-41 victory over East Bridgewater.

Maddy McGillicuddy, North Quincy girls cross country

Senior finished 1st overall in 20:08 over 5K as Quincy/North Quincy beat Scituate 15-48 to secure the Patriot League title.
