MSU football offers recent Penn State decommit, 3-star CB from Virginia

Michigan State football is looking to cash-in on the recruiting trail thanks to a recent Big Ten firing.

Jaziel Hart of Roanoke, Va. announced on Wednesday that he’s received an offer from Michigan State. Hart posted about his offer from the Spartans on his social media X account on Wednesday evening.

Hart is a three-star cornerback prospect in the 2026 class. He holds a recruiting rating of 88.33 in 247Sports’ composite system, and ranks as the No. 43 cornerback in the class. He is also listed as the No. 558 overall prospect in the class.

Hart was previously committed to Penn State, but elected to decommit from the Nittany Lions following their decision to fire head coach James Franklin this past weekend. Hart holds offers from more than 25 schools, including the likes of Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Notre Dame, NC State, North Carolina, Pitt, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
