Duncanville junior quarterback Maximus The Great Denson is coming off a monster game that saw him throw for 342 yards and seven touchdowns in a 48-28 rivalry win over DeSoto. For the season, Denson has thrown 15 touchdowns and just one interception.
The Panthers, who have an eight-game schedule this season, suffered their only loss to Waxahachie, 28-27, on Sept. 19. Duncanville is the No. 4 team in The Sporting News Texas top 25 rankings this week.
Lancaster comes into this week’s game at 3-3 (2-1), but two of those losses were at the hands of Aledo and defending Class 6A Division I state champion North Crowley. Cedar Hill also knocked off Lancaster, 26-10.
Duncanville is the defending District 11-6A champion.
